#CDUCM Tweetchat

Last week we had our first ever tweetchat and these were the following issues asked by Dr. Madamba

T1 “What is your personal vision, mission and goal as a medical student?”

T1. My mission is to make a positive difference in the health of the Filipino community. To be remembered for being there to lend a hand, keeping an open mind , and getting involved in issues that matters most to me while my vision is to rise above life’s challenges and influence change in the world.

In the near future, I want to be physician instilled with values. I want to serve other people in all ways that I can because “You must be the change you wish to see in the world” as what Mahatma Gandhi said. Our days here on earth are numbered we must find something purposeful and relevant to do so that it will be a life well lived.

T2  “How does your VMG align with CDUCM’s vision, mission and goals?”

T2. My vision, mission and goals align with CDU-CM because I believe that this school produces competent, exemplary and compassionate physicians committed to serve the Filipino people .

I believe that I am in the right place because CDU CM’s vision and mission is what I want to become as a physician in the future . Also, what I like most about CDU is that they want students to develop not just academically but also holistically as a person in which I think is really important in reaching the finish line.

T3  “How can #CDUCM vision, mission and goals help you attain the CHED program outcomes for the degree of medicine?”

T3. CDU CM will help me achieve the 10 program outcomes through determination, perseverance and trusting God’s will

CDU has developed a curriculum which is student-directed and also we are tasked to do reflection papers and research which is really an important tool in achieving the program outcomes.

My experience in joining the tweetchat was very productive and useful. It strengthened my understanding of my personal VMGs and that of the CDUCM VMGs. It also offered me opportunity to know my fellow freshmen medical students. It’s a good start in sharing a connection with them.
